sincerity has become a lost art these days

forget about me working halloween day. my shift switched back to halloween night. oh well...doesnt bother me much its just that i have school the next day.

im relieved right now because i thought i had to study for a psychology exam tomorrow AND write a paper, but i DONT have to study until NEXT monday

but i still have to write that paper :-/

today i went into work at 8 in the morning. i usually close, so it felt a little weird walking out of the store when it was still light outside. i liked it a lot more because i was able to get a lot of stuff done because there were no customers. but that only lasted for 2 hours. then we had our "15 minute pep talk" and then the store opened. i had to have some new hires shadow me today and they all seem pretty nice.

the best part of today though was when i got my schedule changed. not only did i pick up about 15 more hours, but i also was able to get a morning shift on halloween. i was originally scheduled to work 2:30pm - 10:00pm, but now i'm working 6:00am - 2:30pm...which is much better.

um, i went to a haunted house thing earlier tonight. it sucked. there was nothing special about it. no story line, nothing. it was just a generic haunted house inside a supposedly real haunted bank. idk...it just didn't do anything for me. we should have gone to knott's scary farm...but no one listened to me.

it's been so long since i've written anything in here. in a nutshell: i love my post-high school life. there are a few things that could make it better, but i have no real reason to complain about anything right now. i like college, but i wish i had better classes...that should change next semester now that i will have a higher priority than i did when i registered for the very first time. i love my job. i'm working quite like a full-timer, even though i'm not. my coworkers are great and that's why i love being there...the customers on the other hand, well...the human kind are idiots, that's what i've learned most so far. ahh i forgot that i had to do this report type thing for my supervisor. i could probably fill out one sheet, but i had to fill out two and turn them in tomorrow...oh well, i'll have to come up with a plan. i got my blue shirt today. i feel like an equal now.
